2nd meeting of September Club Service

2nd meeting of September

Rtn Pradeep More and Rtn Keshav Khetawat were the firsts to arrive .The meeting started by observing 1 minute silence to pray for Late Zubeen Garg. The accounts for 24-25 was presented and TD receipt was handed over by Rtn Jugal More to the president which showed an increase in the investment by rs 170000 as last years surplus. It was decided that from this year we should maintain a separate record of various contributions made by members. Hereon to become the President of the club the member should have experience of serving the club as a secretary. The major discussion was regarding the district seminar committee , RTN Jugal More was appointed the chairperson and RTN Amit Soni ,the co- chair. The names of members for various sub committes was also decided.Our annual project where we take the children of State Home Orphanage for Puja Pandal hopping, finalised for 29th sept, 10 am.Rtn Amit More was declared as the Preasident elect for 26-27.

1st meeting of September

The meeting started at a very happy note as everyone was excited that we are going to host a district event after a long time . The name of the event was proposed as SAMANWAY or NIRMAAAN which is subject to approval by the district. The name of Rtn Jugal More was proposed for the chairperson of the event. Everyone applauded President Rtn Aman Dassani for his efforts in securing Global Grant. We will now construct a 7 bedded ICU in the local Mercy Hospital. Schemes for funding the project were discussed and it was informed to the members that their contribution in this event will also redlect in their annual international contribution. There was discussion regarding fund raising project to be done by the club,whether it should be Lottery or something else. the meeting ended with some snacks and refreshment and giving a choclate as appreciation to RTN Keshav Khetawat and RTN Jugal More for arriving first in the meeting.

2nd general meeting of August

The meeting was held at Hotel RishiRaj.The members present were Aman Dassani, Mamta Agarwal, Amit More, Subham Sihotia, Arun Agarwal, Ranjana Agarwal, Birendra Jain, Lalit Todi, Sanjay Todi, Vvikash Surana, Arvind Surana and Ravi More. The main topics of discussion were upcoming district seminar and district conclave. A fund raising programme Lottery was decided to be conducted. The members greatly applauded the efforts of President Rtn Aman Dassani in gaining International Grant for the club. Under the global grant scheme we are now going to construct a 7 bed ICU and a ventitlator in Mercy Hospital Nagaon. Felicitation of 21 teachers at the Nation Builders Award Ceremony. Much emphasis was given on finalising the president and team for the next year specially because its the silver jublee year. All the members very actively participated in all the discussion and gave their valueable suggestions and inputs.

1st meeting of August

The first meeting was a very crucial one. This was mainly to ensure that everything was going on smoothly for the upcoming Mega Event TAARE ZAMEEN PE 3.0 . This has been a successful project every year and this year we are aiming for Assam State Record of holding an art competition of maximum number of students at the same time under a single platform. Everyone was quite excited and enthusiastic for the event. The sponsors ,media partners, event team... all were perfectly doing their parts.Fingers crossed and hoping and working hard so that everything falls into the right places.

The club meeting was held at hotel Rishiraj , on 4th of July. It was attended by a total of 16 members. Rtn Sanjay Nahata was the first to reach the venue inspite of heavy rains and was appreciated with a recognition for this. Agenda of the meeting: 1. Discussion on drawing competition 2. Installation 3. Progress on ⁠Waiting Shed 4. ⁠New format of monthly meetings. 5. ⁠District event. The meeting was followed by some light refreshments and some homemade dessert

DIWALI MEET

The Rotary Club of Nagaon came together for a joyous Diwali Meet on October 16, 2025, at Hotel Rishiraj, 3rd Floor. The evening, filled with laughter, warmth, and festive spirit, beautifully reflected the essence of Diwali — the triumph oflight over darkness and goodness over despair. Members and families gathered in vibrant attire, sharing moments of togetherness and joy. The event was a perfect blend of fellowship and celebration, reminding everyone that the true spirit of Diwali lies in spreading happiness, compassion, and hope. In the glow of diyas and the sparkle of smiles, the club reaffirmed its Rotary motto — Service Above Self — by pledging to continue lighting lives through meaningful service and community initiatives.

INSTALLATION CEREMONY "PRARAMBH"

RC Nagaon had its 24th Installation Ceremony, titled “PRARAMBH”, on 13th July 2025 at Refresko,. The event marked the formal installation of Rtn. Aman Dassani as President and Rtn. Mamta Agarwal as Secretary for the Rotary year 2025–26. PRID Rtn. Manoj Desai ,the Chief Guest, captivated the gathering with his insights on the Rotary journey and the significance of collective service.DGN Dr. Danny Dutta attended as the Guest of Honour, offering his best wishes and emphasizing the importance of continuity and innovation in Rotary leadership. AG Rtn. Birendra Jain,Special Guest, lauded the efforts of the club and extended his support to the incoming team. Outgoing President Rtn. Nikesh Bhajanka expressed heartfelt gratitude to all for a fruitful Rotary year. The newly installed President Rtn. Aman Dassani presented his vision for the year 2025–26. The installation ceremony concluded with celebration, fellowship, and a reaffirmed commitment to Rotary’s guiding motto-Service Above Self.
